Maple Grove History

Maple Grove History

Maple Grove was developed by Free Methodists in 1947 as a permanent site on which they could carry on a long standing tradition of evangelistic camp meetings and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ through camping ministries.

Maple Grove’s core background is the Free Methodist constituency and it interacts extensively with Christians from other evangelical heritages.

The purpose of Maple Grove is to develop, organize, promote, conduct, and facilitate Bible-centred conference, camping educations, and special interest programs that convert people to faith in Jesus Christ, nurture Christian character, train and develop people for service, energize local churches, and strengthen family life in a facility that provides a safe, wholesome, and distinctively Christian environment.
